Question: are there any over the counter ointments I can use for cold sores while pregnant?

Answer: Topical benadryl liquid is helpful, apply locally with a cotton swab or swish and spit(you can swallow it,but will get sleepy). Cepachol spray is sometimes of help.

Question: I just began taking Naproxen for arthritis pain five days ago. The second day of taking the medicine, I began to get canker sores on the inside of my mouth and my stomach began to ache. The canker sores have worsened and I now have six sores and my entire mouth is sore. My stomach aches almost constantly, but especially just before, during, and after meals. Can these symptoms be caused by Naprosyn (Naproxen)?

Answer: Yes, but there are autoimmune diseases that would give oral ulcers along with joint problems. You need to ensure these have been checked, but probably the Naprosyn.
