Question: April 1999 I had Angioplasty and stents in both legs.
The left leg is fine, but the right leg had more pain than
before the stent. August 6,1999 I had Angioplasty and 2 more
stents. Now my right calf has so much pain I can not sleep.
I am up at 1AM walking the floor to ease the pain. I try to walk about a mile every day. The pain is a lot less when I walk or stand. If this is not a vascular problem, what could it be?

Answer: If there is adequate flow to the leg(easily measured) then another possibility would be nerve pain from the lower back to the leg. So called spinal claudication.
